The Story So Far - Why We’re Building VIA
(And Why It Matters) Think of someone you know. This person is devoted to following Jesus. They may be a new believer, or they may have been walking with Jesus for years. But they are busy. Family, work, responsibility, and life do not let up.
They do not lack a desire to grow. They want to spend time with God. They want to understand Scripture. They want spiritual growth to become more than something they feel guilty about. More than something they keep meaning to get back to. They want it to become something that actually forms them. Maybe this person is you.
Have that person in mind? That person matters to me because I've met them over and over again.

What's Next - What We’re Building
One thing I've learned over the years is that spiritual formation is a journey.
Like most journeys, it isn't a single path. There are hills and valleys. There are familiar places and new discoveries. There are seasons when growth feels exciting and seasons when it feels difficult. Some days we feel close to God. Other days we feel distracted, discouraged, or stuck.
Yet through all of it, God continues to shape us. That's why VIA is designed around a simple idea: spiritual growth is a journey, and the church should have better tools to help people navigate it.

How You Can Participate
One of the most surprising things about this journey is that it has never been a solo project. In many ways, the story of DiscipleOne is a story of participation.
Long before there was an app, Sharon, Bill, Hannah, and Evan helped shape the early vision. Later came software developers, ministry leaders, designers, entrepreneurs, and friends who contributed ideas, encouragement, expertise, and wisdom.
