What We're Building

One thing I've learned over the years is that spiritual formation is a journey.

Like most journeys, it isn't a single path. There are hills and valleys. There are familiar places and new discoveries.

There are seasons when growth feels exciting and seasons when it feels difficult. Some days we feel close to God. Other days we feel distracted, discouraged, or stuck.

Yet through all of it, God continues to shape us.

That's why VIA is designed around a simple idea: spiritual growth is a journey, and the church should have better tools to help people navigate it.

VIA is a Bible companion, a disciple-maker connector, and a healthy spiritual habit builder. More than anything, it's a tool designed to help people navigate the journey of spiritual formation.

Every Journey Needs a Path

Scripture is one of the primary ways God forms us.

That's why VIA offers multiple ways to engage with God's Word. Whether someone prefers a Bible reading plan, Scripture memory, guided reflection, or a personalized quiet time, the goal is the same: helping people spend meaningful time with God and His Word.

A Bible reading plan can be an amazing part of the journey. But it isn't the destination. Checking off a reading plan doesn't automatically produce spiritual growth. The goal has never been about completing a plan. The goal is becoming more like Jesus.

We want Scripture engagement to be more than information consumption. We want Scripture discovery guided by the Holy Spirit and disciple to disciple relationships to become the foundation of our journey.

Every Journey Is Better With Others

One of the things I've observed over the years is that people rarely thrive in isolation.

We encourage one another. We challenge one another. We pray for one another. We help each other stay focused when life becomes busy.

That's why VIA includes Disciple Partners.

The idea is simple: spiritual growth becomes stronger when it happens in community. Whether it's a friend, mentor, spouse, pastor, or small group leader, meaningful relationships help us stay engaged in following Jesus.

Faith was never intended to be a solo experience.

Every Journey Needs Momentum

Growth isn't usually the result of one extraordinary moment. More often, it comes from small steps taken over time.

That's why we're interested in helping people build healthy spiritual habits. Not habits driven by guilt or performance, but habits that help create space for God to work in our lives.

When people can see progress, establish goals, and develop consistent rhythms, the journey begins to feel alive. Small steps become lasting transformation.

A Bigger Vision

While VIA is designed for individuals, our vision extends beyond individuals.

We believe local churches are the primary vehicle for disciple-making. Technology should never replace the church. It should strengthen what the church is already doing.

Our long-term vision is to equip churches with better tools, better insights, and better ways to support the spiritual growth of the people they serve. We want to help churches move beyond simply measuring attendance and begin supporting everyday discipleship.

That's the vision we're building toward.

And while there's still much work ahead, we're excited about the progress being made. In the next update, I'll share more about how people are already beginning to participate in this mission and the different ways you can become part of the journey.
